This site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising, has no accounts and no forms, and collects no personal information from visitors.

Pages are served by Cloudflare Pages, which, like any web host, processes the IP address and browser details of each request to deliver the page and protect the service. We do not receive or keep those logs in any form that identifies you. See Cloudflare's privacy policy ↗.

Fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser requests them from Google's servers. See Google's privacy policy ↗.

Video pages show a thumbnail. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play; the player is then embedded from youtube-nocookie.com, and YouTube's own terms and privacy policy apply to it.

The Beige Years uses a private tool, operated only by the channel's owner, that signs in with Google to read the channel's own data through the YouTube API Services: its uploads and their titles, thumbnails and viewing statistics. It is used to keep this site in step with the channel and to learn which parts of each video viewers watch. No one else signs in to it, and it is never used to read data from any other person's account.

• What is accessed: read-only data about The Beige Years channel and its videos, under the scopes the owner grants at sign-in.
• How it is used: only to update this site's pages and to measure the channel's own videos. It is not used for advertising and not used to build profiles of viewers; YouTube Analytics data is aggregated and identifies no individual viewer.
• Storage: the access token and any data retrieved are kept on the owner's own computer. Nothing is stored on this website's servers.
• Sharing: the data is not sold, shared with or transferred to anyone, except as aggregate figures (such as a view count) shown on these public pages.
• Retention and deletion: retrieved data is kept only as long as it is needed and is refreshed or deleted on each run. Access can be revoked at any time at Google's security settings page ↗; revoking it stops all further access, and on request we delete everything the tool has stored.

By using the tool, the owner is bound by the YouTube Terms of Service ↗. Data obtained through the YouTube API Services is handled under the Google Privacy Policy ↗. Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy ↗, including its Limited Use requirements.

If you write to [email protected], your message and address are used only to answer you and to log the correction. They are not added to any list or shared.

This site is not directed at children under 13 and knowingly collects no information from anyone.
